BEGC-107 encompasses English literature from the 17th and 18th centuries. It provides pupils with knowledge of the historical periods known as “The Renaissance,” “Jacobean Era,” “Caroline and Restoration,” and “Augustan Era.” This course comprises four components: Block I: John Webster’s play “The Duchess of Malfi” Block II: John Milton’s works included in this block include Lycidas, Sonnet XIX, L’ Allegro, and II Penseroso.
